I have covered info about going to Batu Caves in my KTM Komuter review for KL Sentral so this is basically a rehash. This KTM Komuter station is the northern terminus of the Port Klang Line. The one way fare for the ride between Batu Caves and KL Sentral KL Sentral is only RM2(less than $.50US) and trains leave from this station every 30 minutes. There isn’t a ticket machine so you will need to buy your fare at the ticket counter. On the train ride bound for Sentul, it takes 26 minutes to go from Batu Caves to KL Sentral. The trains look newer than the ones on the LRT. For the ladies, there is a train car specifically designated for women only. Upon arriving at the station, make sure to keep your ticket as you will need to provide it upon exiting at KL Sentral. If you want to get from KL Sentral to Batu Caves, taking KTM is a good way to get there. Aside from booking a private tour, it is the best way to reach this attraction.
