A nice little park for everyone to enjoy. There is a well-maintained footpath for joggers and cyclists, simple workout equipment for health nuts and playgrounds at various areas for kids. There are two entrances to this park; one facing Jalan Kedondong and close to the Community Hall and another one on Jalan Ampang Hilir, near the Kazakhstan Embassy. Parking is available at both entrances and there is usually at least one or two free spots at any given time. The children’s playground is a hive of activity(to be expected) with kids climbing the jungle gym equipment or playing on the swings and see-saw. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons but there is usually an ice-cream seller conveniently at the entrance for you to get a cone to cool down. There is also a small eating area further down the park where you can eat simple fare such as fried rice and noodles and have a drink as well. A nice park to go to with the family if you are sick of malls.

In a city that is seriously lacking in good quality parks and green spaces I am glad this park exists. It’s not an incredible park by any stretch, but at least there is a green space to be found in this area. If you’re free some evening when the weather is nice a walk around the lake here is a great thing to do. I am a runner and will go for a fee laps around the lake on a pretty regular basis. If you have kids and live in the area this park will become indispensable. The kids playground is big and is always bustling with youthful activity. It can be a bit much if you’re just trying to have a quiet evening at the park but it would look pretty fun if I was 6 years old :)
