Opened 2011 right next to Italian restaurant, TRATTORIALAVERDE. This Japanese restaurant owns fishing boat in Kotsubo fishing port and vegetable garden. This time we ordered Tendon(a bowl of rice topped with tempura/1,200 Yen) and Tori Karaage(fried chicken/750 Yen). Tendon looks gorgeous. prawns, conger(sea eel), Sea bass, maitake-mushroom, egg plant and some other vegetables I don’t remember. My fried chicken were also good, lots of piece of chicken, a little stronger soy source base flavor made me eat a lot of rice. I like their home made(I guess) tartar sauce. If you are a group, don’t worry they have Tatami room, you take your shoes off and relax on the tatami separated room. I bought a pack of Kamaage Shirasu(boiled young sardines/500 Yen) which was produced by their own fishing boat in Kotsubo. It is good to have with grated radish and I enjoyed it a lot. Credit card is accepted only for dinner.
