Just got home from dinner there and this is my 1st ever Unilocal review. I give this place 2 months to survive(my family is in the restaurant business). They ran out of Moretti beer– something that should never happen on a Friday night, ALL of our courses took forever to arrive with apologies by the staff but the restaurant was near empty. The pasta was cold, the pizza overcooked and dry with very few toppings– we won’t be going back ever. Sadly the search for a decent local Italian joint continues. Went to this place almost a year ago and were very impressed. The«help wanted» sign out front should have been our first clue. Next time we’ll head to Pizzeria Barchetta in Noge.

Absolutely phenomenal Italian food. The menu is extensive and the staff super friendly and helpful. The best Italian I’ve had since living in Japan, and the prices are very reasonable, especially given the quality and atmosphere. Easy to get to as its right across from the JR line Zushi station. Highly recommend! My go-to when craving Italian goodness.

Il Nonno was one of my first«go to» finds after moving to Japan. It was under different ownership in 2010, but the service and commitment to quality food remains. Further, they have wonderful servers who will explain the menu(no English menu, sorry) to you. Do not worry about the language barrier; they are extremely helpful. The ravioli is by request only, and it’s truly the best I’ve had. They serve a variety of pizzas and pastas and offer dinner specials. High quality Italian food in a pleasant atmosphere.
