This place is worth a visit if you’re in the area and have time to kill. The displays related to the history of western-style dolls and on regional dolls in Japan and on doll-making are great. They also have performances for kids and other special shows on occasion. Some of the«dolls» are really just a collection of international tchotchkes for tourists(those dolls on stands sold at airports and hotel/resort gift shops), which is less interesting. But the entrance fee is cheap and it’s a quick hop over to the Sea Bass(Sea bus) or Motomachi if you’re a visiting tourist.
