This is the café portion of the rourou store. The Asian fusion inspiration definitely follows on in this café. The chashu sandwich(soft pork belly in a Chinese sauce) is one of the best I have had in China town. This thing is soft, tasty and doesn’t fight with the rest of the pieces like I have had at other places. It goes well with a cup of coffee. I had the Panda Mocha or Latte — its just fun to drink anything with a Panda on it. If you are looking for a place to relax while shopping and you want a cup of coffee, this place is pretty good. Toss on the fact you get to have a Panda Mocha or Latte, and it makes it worth the stop.

Rourou Café is located in the great China Town of Yokohama. I recommend this place to any tourists, locals or even cats. Seriously, this is one of the coolest cafes I’ve ever found in Japan. I don’t want to sound boring, but this place is exotic. Okay I’m in Japan, but this is not Japanese. It’s a mix of Asia and Europe, which is exactly what the café is trying to achieve. Their successful clothing line, ROUROU was created under the concept of an imaginary Asian country that has both Asian and European cultures. Just like their clothes, their cups and pots are super cute and just to be here and looking at the interior make me so happy. What impresses me so much is their amazing taste in color. You see lots of different colors here. Pink, purple, blue, white, black, orange, navy… It’s like a big pool of colors. I feel like if I had to use all these colors to decorate a room, it would be really difficult to make it look nice. ROUROU Café is a rare example of «successful too much,» is what I call it. Too much usually creates clutter even if it’s all goodies, but this is an amazing space to look at if you are in China Town. As soon as you enter the café, you’ll know this place has the«it» factor. Oh the food and drink are great too. You can expect some good Chinese sweets like Geppei. Lunch is served as well. However, because it’s been only less than a year since their open, it’s easy to miss it. Lucky you, the person reading my review. You’re welcome.
