Very bright and clean. counter service only, order thru vending device. Katsu very well made, portion size ok. Curry sauce very very good. Service quick and friendly. Glad we stopped in to try it

This place was a deliberate search and devour mission as it was my last day in Tokyo and i hadnt yet tried any form of katsu and this was a no no lol. What a surreal experience compared to the uk. You walk in to this particular restaurant and its in the basement, luckily they have an english menu to let you decide what you want which you then select tthrough the little digital machine. Pro tip — money first then selections open up. So we had the big meal with tonkatsu and chicken katsu with various things such as egg and prawn added and i opted for a chicken katsu curry. After a few minutes trying to decipher the japanese i got a staff member to help me and off we went! The currys arrived and god were these big and such good value for money! We partook of the free ice water jug which was on offer and dug in to our curry which was served on a sort of silver platter style arrangement! The roux was very thick and quite dark compared to what im used to but when i tasted it it was absoloutely brilliant! Better than anything ive had in the uk by far but then thats what i was expecting! Had some of the tonkatsu as well and the pork was very nice too! Is it the best ive had so far? Yes without a doubt. But you just know its not the best out there, quick service, conveinient ordering(if you can read japanese), tasty cheap food, not the best tasting but still very nice and its one of those places you go for cheap and quick food(very much a revolving door style place as it was so small. Apart from this the place was fantastic!
