Nekorobi is a smaller cat café that charges for a minimum of an hour stay. They provide cat toys for you to use to play with the cats, and they also have board/card games. When I visited, there were mainly foreign visitors at this cat café compared to the other one I visited in Ikebukuro. Also, this cat café was more like a playroom with a table or two, rather than a café. However, they offer unlimited free drinks from their vending machine!

Okay, so I planned on coming to this cat café thinking that this was going to be ridiculous… but you know what? I had an awesome time! Tokyo can be a crazy city: too much to see, too busy, and the whole constant onslaught of neon-colored animé can be EXHAUSTING. With that in mind, it makes sense why places like Cat Cafes exist(and are so prevalent) in Tokyo. Cat cafes give you an hour or two respite from the chaos outside. Inside, you’re given the keys to a magical world with fuzzy kittens, warm drinks, and free wifi. The whole thing was just… relaxing. I didn’t really interact with the cats – I got more of a kick watching everyone else play with the cats. But I left feeling so much more serene – and for 1,000 yen/hour with unlimited drink, it’s definitely worth checking out. If you’re going to this one, it’s a short walk from the Ikebukuro station, on the third floor(above an Indian restaurant).
