My girlfriend and I were wandering around Asakusa, looking for a legit soba joint, and came across this place. It looked very nondescript from the outside and we weren’t even sure if it was open, but when we stepped inside, we were greeted warmly. We enjoyed very good, fresh zaru soba, using buckwheat sourced from Hokkaido. We got a lunch set which included the soba, a small side dish, and a small dessert for only 1000 yen($ 10) a person! This was probably one of the best deals we had in our entire trip! The chef/owner is actually very fluent in English(He lived in the US for a good number of years), so we had a great time just chatting with him. Definitely recommended for travelers!
