We had breakfast here and it was very good. There were lots of options, mainly western dishes. I have the homemade granola with yogurt and fruit. The hot chocolate was delicious, European style, strong on flavor but not too sweet. The scone of the day was honey thyme and it was very very good.

We had such a good breakfast we’re back for more! The pancakes are wonderful. There is a bakery upstairs which provides them with fresh bread, muffins, and other baked goods. The staff is super friendly. Definitely our favorite breakfast spot in Tokyo.

Just stumbled on this place on a walk around the area. Delicious meal and excellent service. Everything was very fresh and prices reasonable

This is such a wonderful pearl of a place. They do have dinner service in the evening as well but I come here for the brunch, the fabulous pancakes and fresh squeezed juice. They have a daily menu consisting of a lunch special, and soup of the day. Due to the fresh ingredients and the bakery most things are really delicious. The only thing I haven’t been too found of is the salmon and ricotta sandwich due to the overwhelming taste of ricotta. A big plus to the fact that you can just walk in here and get seated immediately. I hate waiting for my brunch ^_^

The wife and I didn’t enjoy Tokyo as much as we thought we would, but Suke6 Diner had us wanting to buy a place as close as possible. The place is three stories: 1st) The ground floor open to the street, alive with conversation and friendly service. 2nd) The quiet«study» if you will, with couches and a view of the activity below. Also has the creative bathrooms for the place. 3rd) A bakery! Supplies fresh delicious treats for the café, but you can come up and buy direct to take home. We came for the café, which was one of the rare places to serve a breakfast. Though I went about-face and ordered a Cuban sandwich, which was wonderful. A little pricey for the smaller than expected sandwich, but was a very good Cuban in a world that often does them poorly. The wife had the chocolate filled pastry, which we ended up getting two off because it was so perfectly flaky and the chocolate divine. Add great coffee, and we were hooked. The atmosphere here is just fantastic. The design is the perfect combination of thoughtfulness and artsy rustic chaos. Take a moment out of your busy trek around Tokyo to stop at this reprieve. The people watching is great, and the service warm and friendly. Oh, and they provide ample outlets for laptops. Other coffee shops should visit and take note.

Gastropub, indeed! The food, the presentation, and the ambience were all exceedingly hip. We loved every bite, especially appreciating the hyper-local ingredients and rich vegetarian options. The 8 am weekend brunch start time and close location to Asakusa subway station made it a super convenient start to our day of exploring. During a week of delicious Japanese food, we relished for one meal the familiar taste of home, but in the foodie sense that we enjoy in the PacNW. Truly, this place could be teleported straight out of Portland. Every bit of décor is ridiculously cool, and we smiled at the sound of indie American hip-hop. We imagine it must be a happening place in the evening, with innovative seating on the second floor, too. Last shout-out is to the friendly and welcoming staff. They set the mood for all of us happy diners. We were surrounded by a young American adventuring alone, three Japanese youth chatting energetically, a European pair of friends humming with the music, and a middle-aged Japanese couple punctuating their stoicism with spontaneous glee about the food. Everyone was appreciative of the establishment and kindly let me photograph their dishes, too.
