It may be winter in Tokyo but this reminds me of LA with the outdoor heat lamps on. There are plenty of seat options. I even found an available outlet to charge my phone and the free Wifi is always a plus, you just register, with your Google, FB, or Twitter account. And yes the Matcha latte was quite good.

This has to be the nicest Starbucks store in the world ! Located in picturesque Ueno Park, this Starbucks store has been well designed with plenty of glass and seating areas (inside and out) to make the most of the park setting. It is also one of the largest stores that I have come across and they certainly do a roaring trade.

Wow! This is the «most Japanese» Starbucks that I have seen in Japan…
The building was obviously custom built for Starbucks in order to «fit» into Ueno Park — and the architects did an outstanding job. When I visited, the entire store was decorated for sakura, quite nicely.
Super busy location but they have the extra cashiers and baristas that keep things running smoothly. LOADS of seating, both indoors and outdoors
Oh, and they serve coffee here too…
