MOGRA is one of the best clubs in the area, known primarily for its «geeky» electronic and pop events. The schedule varies daily, with some common weekly events including «A-​Pop Bar» on Mondays and DJ booth rental on Tuesdays. They also run some monthly events like Pure Ibiza (mostly hardcore sets) and their immensely popular «elemog» shows. Personally, I’m a huge fan of the Vocaloid events — the first time I came here was for a «Vocaloid Disco» in 2010.
The staff is fantastic, and the owner is also a DJ and mixes in some of the events. I’ve never felt uncomforatble as a foreigner — in fact, quite the opposite. The bar selection includes a lot of mixed drinks. Individual drinks are around 500¥, and cover usually includes one free drink. There are coin lockers at the entrance if you need to stow things during a show.
