Yotsuya is a friendly neighborhood café with a pretty decent food and drink selection and a cozy, warm atmosphere. I dropped by for a drink and some wi-fi after a tiring day of hanging out at Shinjuku Gyoen, and I was not disappointed. I also ordered a Dutch Baby pancake, just to try it out — it was fluffy, buttery, and delicious! It was pretty filling for one person, I’d say somewhere in between a snack and a meal. The green tea I ordered was pretty standard for Japan(so it was delicious), and came in a really cute little cup and teacup contraption. Staff at the restaurant is very friendly and attentive, and they patiently put up with my incredibly limited Japanese(mostly pointing at and asking for things). The wi-fi is relatively fast, though not strong enough to handle a video call(trying to Facetime in a café is a bad idea anyway, not their fault). Unfortunately I couldn’t find any outlets nearby, so that somewhat limited my stay. If you’re looking for a quieter place to hang out, grab a bite to eat, and get some work done, this is your place!
