A place sell pork rice professional. Crowded with Japanese people who take their lunch break. The waiting line long from 2 °F down to ground.

I stumbled upon this place by chance. When I saw the line up coming down the stairs, I thought that if people were willing to wait, it would have to good and it was :) I ordered the same chicken tonkatsu plate as the person in front of me(need to practice more kanji)! The portions are big! The tonkatsu was juicy and tasty. They do hurry you in and out but I feel like that’s quite normal for a place like this, you go there for the food and not to chat for hours.

Excellent. Nothing is in English, they hurry you in and out. But it was so good, very much a lunch place, a lot of business folk come here it seems. I had the pork and my girlfriend the chicken, which came to 1760 yen. It came with soup, rice and cabbage-like leaf and tea. Crowded for a reason.

I’m sorry but the tonkatsu I had was terrible. It didn’t taste fresh and I had a hard time chewing it. If I could name the dish, I’d call it the«Gomu Gomu Tonkatsu» dish, named after Luffy from One Piece. I felt like I was being rushed in the beginning, but it was probably because it was during the busy lunch hours. There was a waitress who could speak some English. There service was pretty good, often going around asking if you want refills. All in all, the tonkatsu killed it for me but maybe I just had a bad one.
