Tinun is amazing. This is one of the few restaurants that I frequent in Tokyo and I even get excited whenever my friends and I plan to eat here!!! Because it is located at Nishiwaseda, it’s pretty convenient for me to stop by for a bite whenever I’m craving it since my school is around, but the proximity to this restaurant isn’t the only reason I keep coming back. I have never had a bad experience dining here, the staff are really friendly, and because they’re not Japanese, there isn’t this mandatory superficial politeness, they’re friendly just because they are! Although I like pretty much everything, I highly recommend the Khao Man Gai(chicken rice) it is heavenly… mmm. Besides Khao Man Gai, I also like Kapow and the tangy, warm Tom Yum Ramen. Although there are many Tinun chains in Tokyo, this is the first established Tinun that is responsible for the Tom Yum Ramen frenzy in Tokyo. Come by on the 16th for the Thank You(サンキュー) price, everything on the special menu that day is 390yen! I don’t think they have Khao Man Gai and Kapow that day though.

I can taste the Thai Ramen while I’m writing this review… I wish I could eat it again! I’m not sure about the rest of the menu but I KNOW that the Thai Ramen here is TODIEFOR. Then again this is coming from someone who is not a big fan of ramen; your normal miso, shio, tonkotsu ramen usually doesn’t really do it for me. But this Thai ramen is tangy, spicy, and delicious; I couldn’t get enough of it! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a similar product here in the States, so I’ll have to wait until my next trip to Tokyo to get another bowl of Thai Ramen. The people who own/work in this restaurant are very nice and remember the customers who come often. One of my friends ate here so regularly that they knew her by name! They also give you a stamp card to keep track of the bowls of ramen you eat, and at the end you get a free bowl which is legit.
