The ramen here is now my 2nd favorite because it tastes just like my first favorite mutepouu. This is a great substitute but not replacement when im craving ramen. This place is a lot healthier the. You think because it is a chicken base(feet) broth. That being said the location and restaurant itself has probably seen better days. Located in the heart of shinnjuku kabukicho the place can look a little swanky dank. Honestly thought i could smell the toilet upstairs as we ate so that was a bad sign. If you see this ramen else where give it a shot. Broth is different from anything youve probably eaten before and its delicious. Across the way is ichiiran, although good tenkaippen is much more delicious

Noodles are not fresh. Bathroom is filthy. Rice and chicken are good. I would never come back. Standards are too low for being in japan

First experience with ramen in Tokyo and was slightly disappointed. Wandered into this place randomly on the way to the Tokyo Robot show. Workers don’t speak English, but they do have an English menu available if needed. They didn’t understand what I was asking for at first so I pointed at their Japanese menu and just kept repeating«English?» As far as their ramen goes, the soup is very thick and heavy, which is not really my preference. The broth is also pretty salty, which makes you tire of it quickly. Their redeeming point is their fried chicken, which was very well seasoned and fried just right. Service is great, which is something you see in Japan in general. They will work with you through the language barrier, if there is one.
