If you want to try whale, this is a great place. The place was packed on a Sunday night. We were the only foreigners there. We had to wait a bit to get a seat, but the manager bent over backwards to make us feel happy. He spoke a little English and was a great help to us. The food was awesome. We ordered whale shashimi for an appetizer. This was a big plate that included whale skin, tongue, and red meat. Then my wife ordered the whale hot pot. I ordered the whale steak. I never wanted it to end. For desert we had the smoked whale tongue and the whale bacon mustard soy sauce. In my opinion the meal was a decent price for something so unique. The drinks were awesome, too. After drinking my beer and hot sake, I went for the Sutachibana sour, before ending with a delicious plum wine. My wife had a Green Tea Sour (very delicious and I suggest you try). All this food and drink cost us a very reasonable $ 100 For as much as we received, and as unique as it was, I thought the price was a bargain. The ambiance is crowded, but still feels great. Who knows maybe your fellow customers will sing you a little «Hey Jude», too.

The best place to have whales!
this is the place you want to check for whales. It is busy and you need to wait for a few minutes to get seats. The manager is very nice and can speak a little bit english. Their menu is in English and Japanese. We also had great time with the guests there. They sang Beatles with us.
The food is very special. As you know, you cannot get it outside of japan!
