If you are in the mood for a cozy Okinawan restaurant with a super friendly master/owner and a chance to make new Japanese friends this has got to be the place for you. The Okinawan menu is expansive but for me the highlight starts at around 8:30pm when the owner picks up his Shamisen and begins a 30 minute singing gig with the entire restaurant participating in some way. I’ve always either chatted up neighboring tables or visa versa… just a friendly place. The prices are slightly higher than comparable Okinawan restaurants but I assume it must reflect the high rents in this area. Thus 4 stars.
