Came here a couple times and ordered the pork curry witty chicken cutlet. We were glad that they had an English menu so that it was relatively easy to tell our order to the cashier who spoke little to no English. The curry was pretty flavor the chicken was tender/crispy. I would suggest getting some sort of meat with the curry because the curry by itself states that it is a pork curry but has very little meat in it at all.

C&C Curry House is very similar to CoCo Curry House, which we have here in Hawaii. There were numerous C&C’s in Tokyo we passed by but finally, during our walk through Shinjuku’s underground labyrinth, we gave into our cravings and decided on C&C’s Japanese curry. I am not sure how you’re supposed to map/Yelp this place because it’s like 2 – 3 floors underground = bad wifi reception but this location is nestled on the side of a stair case leading to the next level in Shinjuku’s large and confusing underground labyrinth. We entered from the side with the menu and was immediately greeted by the cashier at the front door. I ordered cheese curry and rice with a soft boiled egg on the side while my husband ordered the tonkatsu curry! Their English was pretty good and the menu had some English also. We stepped to the side until our cafeteria like trays were ready at the counter and carried it over to some open seating. I found this fast-food curry house to be very spacious of Japan standards. They have both bar and tables seats. It’s also self-serve water, condiments and utensils. C&C Curry House’s curry has real bacon in it! Each bite is filled with flavor and chunks of bacon. It’s definitely a good choice for anyone who wants a cheap, fast, fulfilling Japanese curry experience!

A good alternative to coco ichiban. Love the curry as it is flavourful, not so sweet and savory enough for me to long for my second helping even before I finish my first. The udon was surprisingly chewy and soft at the same time. The beef however could do with more pieces and that is why this review has only 4 stars. Other then that, the staff were great too and thoughtfully provided me with an apron before I ate seeing that I was wearing a white top. Would done here again if I were to ever each curry meals in Japan! One of the best machine fast food curry places I’ve tried as yet.

This is a small but seemingly popular shop located along the West Exit of the massive Shinjuku station in Tokyo. We basically followed our noses to the unmistakeable smell of curry to find this place. I’m not the biggest fan of Japanese curry but I really enjoyed the meal I had here. The curry was flavourful but not too strong and had a mild spicy kick which was just right for me. It was very cheap, around ¥500 for a plate and you stand at a counter to eat. Felt very much like a local eating here and one of the many food highlights of our trip.
