We discovered this café while looking for a vegetarian restaurant on Unilocal in the Waseda area. We had walked by this hidden gem many times and now we’ll be going back many more times before we have to leave the area.
Five stars because:
The menu was varied and the items we chose were all so very tasty and made with good quality fresh ingredients.
The person who I think was the owner was very nice and helpful.
There were three of us and we ordered in total two drinks, three main rice dish specials (omelette taco rice, taco rice, and fried soy chicken over rice), 1 side salad, and 1 side order of ‘fake chicken’ from Kyushu (new on the menu) and the total came to only 4400Yen!
And the place is the home of two cute schnauzers who will bark to let everyone know somebody new is arriving, and perhaps sit next to you on the chair or stand at the end of the table and watch you eat. (They just want to make sure you are enjoying the food!) But don’t let the barking frighten you, they are little angels.
We will definitely be going back!
