Just got the best foot massage ever! Westerner friendly and VERY professional. I’m very surprised some people said they are not friendly as I never got a massage this good in America, they even bring a timer out so you know your getting your time. They don’t speak good English or Japanese but they have the best massage and are very professional! Review update! Avoid the women massagers here!!! I came 4 times to this place, 3 times best massage ever and VERY professional men massagers kind and polite, but my most recent massage was from a woman and it was the WORST massage of my life. She looked mad when she greeted us, and gave me the most awkward massage ever, it was unbalanced and lacked any kind of technique, she pressed into my neck in the same place for 15min… My wife got her 4th massage from a guy and well it was amazing. So AVOID the females that work here and only take a male massager. The men do SUCH a good job I don’t want to lower my stars on my review as I feel it would be unfair to them.

Westerners, do not come here! My wife and I looked for foot massages with all the walking we did in Tokyo. For those that haven’t visited Tokyo, you are in store for miles of walking to and from the destinations/subway stations and such… My massage therapist does not enjoy his work. Could tell his disdain with his facial expressions. It’s as if he is talking smack about me to his chinese compatriot. Also thy are rude in answering questions. We asked simple questions if the business was chinese owned. Someone blurted out«blah, blah chinese owned». Couldn’t make it out clearly since they just yelled it out without caring if we understood. Lack of respect! I wish we could tip them so that I could tip 1 yen(.008 cents). Once again, stay away especially if you are westerners!

Totally legit. After averaging 10+ miles walking on my vacation in Japan, my friends and i decided we needed a foot massage. We found this place on Unilocal after reading the reviews. Definitely worth it! We came back a second time. however, they did not have enough people for my group.

This massage parlor is accessible, clean, and cheap. I got the 30 minute foot massage(1700 yen including clothing few). The atmosphere is relaxing, and after hours and hours of walking around Tokyo, your feet will thank you for it. I’ve heard some foreigners express a reticence to get a massage in Japan for fear of the masseuses attempting a «happy ending»; have no fear, this place is on the up-and-up

They can speak Japanese and Mandarin here, with limited English. Also, they charge 400¥ to «rent» clothes to change into for the massage. I found this gem in Shinjuku while I was staying nearby. The rates are extremely reasonable at 3900¥ for a 60-minute massage. Location: you have to take an elevator up to the 5th(I think) floor where you immediately enter the reception area. Take off your shoes and put them in the shoe cubby before fully entering. Process: Check in with the person at front, appointments are not necessary. They will ask you which service you want and you pay upfront. They accept credit cards and cash. After paying, you are led to the back where there are many massage beds separated by partition walls, making your bed semi-private. You can’t see anyone else, but you can hear noise from the rest of the establishment… it’s not a spa so hopefully that doesn’t bother you. You’ll be given a set of clothes to change into and a basket to store your clothes/belongings. The masseur will enter, ask you where your problem areas are and begin. You can tell them to focus on a specific area or else they’ll go through a routine to work every part. After the massage, you’ll change into your clothes and proceed to the lobby where you’ll be given tea or water. After you’ve finished, you’ll be led to your shoes and you can take the elevator back down to the street level. If you opt for a foot massage only, there are lounge chairs where you can sit in groups and receive your foot massage in a non-private setting. Conclusion: If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely return. It beats the 7000¥ place I was going to before.
