Food was pretty decent, service was great. The only negative was that they closed at 1:00 am, but last order was at 12 midnight. I find that to be a bit early to take last order. Most places would at least allow 30 minutes before closing time. The Hot Bomb sauce was wicked hot, and I have a high tolerance for heat.

It comes down to sauce versus breading, Shinchan around the corner is breaded better but Chicken 678 is sauced to a heavenly perfection. Shinchan was packed and had an easy hour or more wait so we came here. Thankfully, we sat down and then the waiting list started behind us at Chicken 678 on a Saturday night. Take out orders walked out the door in droves and the line built up. We had the Sunduboo Chigae, 3 different half orders of chicken, toppogi, and a pair of high balls. The service was great, the food was hot and spicy. I will be back. The hot bomb sauce chicken put me down for the count…

This place actually boats great taste and great service. Guess what theyre right to do so. For a small staff and busy place I can see these guys working very hard and are at everyones service. Its always a plus to see people working hard to serve. Now as for the chicken, they have some of the lightest crispiest batters youve ever had. The taste is special, depending what sauce they use. And if you are sensitive to free range chickens compared to mass produced do not eat this chicken. Im fine with the slight gameyness of a chicken raised outside. Also they fry whole chickens for you, meaning youll definately find a neck bone and chest bone in these pieces. Go for the boneless if youre not into that. Overall light crisps tasty sauces and great service. Try it on a weekday hopefully its not busy.
