WOMB

Walking by Womb you’d never know it was there. There is a small door to walk through where the line is. If you have a discount coupon you can get reduced cover. Please be nice to the bouncer because being drunk & rude gets you no where, even in Asia. The club has lockers if you need to store stuff. The club has four different rooms and drinks are reasonably priced. Very fun.

Ranked one of the top 10 nightclubs in the world — I first saw WOMB in a movie called Babel which stars Brad Pitt and decided to go check it out during my visit to Tokyo. I was not disappointed, the music was incredible and the facility itself was a spectacle with 4 dance floors. The cover charge was pricey, but it wasn’t too surprised for Tokyo. We drank beforehand at a nomihodai to lower our drinking costs. Overall, we had a blast here and I would definitely recommend this nightclub to visitors to Tokyo!

Amazing sound system, high ceiling, friendly partiers, good staff, cheap drinks (beer/​water vending machines also a huge plus if one doesnt want to wait in the bar line) and lots and lots of dancing. Stays open late.

Check ahead on their website for directions and preorder tickets (also becoming a member for the discount is worth it as they tend to give 1000 yen off a night and also you don’t have to show id as they have a fingerprint-​based system) and the acts that are playing on a given night– the theme can vary greatly depending on the nights,
Womb used to be more of an house/​techno/​trance club there but I know they also do DnB and other stuff from time to time. Also due to their relationship with the neighborhood they keep people off the street so if one has not been there before it is –very– difficult to find by just walking by. (all of the ticket purchasing is done once one has passed through the door)
Peak hours IME are 2 – 5 or 2 – 6 am so plan for a late one or early one depending on how you look at it

Tip one download google Chrome and translate there web site they all ways have some pretty well know djs playing on weekends this where you can see who they have playing and open and close times
Cover charge is high but worth is
4 floors
1 basement lounge and small face floor
2 main face floor and huge mirror ball
3 smallest floor some seating
4 ½ vip and ½ small dance floor and live music on some nights
Each floor has a bar and its own dj
Drink menu is in English and japanees all bar tenders know English so ordering a drink is easy normal drink price good selection,
All in all great club deffently need google maps to find its exterior is not inviting just silver wall with small sign
Oh yeah probably the best sound out of any club in the Tokyo area and I have been to a lot of them

Die wahrscheinlich beste Soundanlage in Tokyo hat meiner Ansicht nach das Womb. Zudem erwartet einen hier eine spektakuläre Tanzfläche, die in einem extrem hohen Raum liegt. Als Partylocation in Shibuya kaum mehr wegzudenken. Die Preise sind aber auch dementsprechend… Tipp: vorher auf der Internetseite nach Flyern mit Discount Ausschau halten. Da sind oftmals 500 bis 1000 JPY Rabatt drin!

This is definitely one of the more popular clubs in Toyko.
There are several floors at Womb and each floor has its own DJ and music, though the first floor is where the main events are held. Drinks aren’t too expensive.
It’s a good experience, but 3500 yen for cover is a turnoff.

Look for the ラブホテル in Shibuya, you’ll know you’re close.
Super hidden, discrete door, but MASSIVE, MASSIVE club. Did you ever see that Brad Pitt movie, Babel? Well, the club scene was filmed in WOMB. Seriously, there are four (!!) floors with four different rooms (including the huge main room), each playing different music. There are lockers inside for you to store your stuff, which is super helpful, just don’t lose your key!
Cost to get in is a bit pricey (around ¥6,000 when I went), but it’s Shibuya, it’s WOMB, and you can sometimes get two complementary drink tickets. Drinks are also pricey, and watch out for large-​scale, super busy events, those lines to the bar can be intense.
But, amazing international and residential DJs, amazing lights, amazing sound… really an amazing club and a must-​see/​do while visiting Tokyo.

Probably the best club in Shibuya. Hidden in the love hotel section of Shibuya, it’s best to check your map otherwise you could be walking round and round never finding it.
Hosting a lot of international DJs, Womb focuses mainly on house and trance music. With 4floors, there a lounge areas and dance floors.
Womb definitely stands out from the regular clubs, even people in there are better looking.
