I really like this place. You enter via stairs going up to the first floor, and it opens up into an open plan kitchen with seating facing it and then tables arranged in cubicles with glass partitions or open plan. All very modern, clean, and simple. I saw the set menu outside, offering various teppanyaki grilled dishes, either mixed meat, beef, pork or chicken accompanied with a bowl of pork and onion soup, a few pickled vegetables and a big bowl of rice accompanied by a bowl of sauce. We ordered the mixed meat set(beef and two types of pork), and a chicken set. We also ordered an additional side dish of salad to go with our meal. As soon as we sat down, they served us with a glass of water flavoured with rice, which was topped up continuously throughout the evening. The flavour taste is actually really nice. The food is of a very high standard, and very, very delicious and really filling. I have not found anywhere in Tokyo yet, that does not serve good quality and tasty food, and all excellent value. ¥1,100 and ¥900 respectively. And all also presented really nicely, with really good service, welcoming and helpful. My only complaint is that nothing is in English, even the name of the restaurant, that I found it difficult to check in. Here, I persevere, checking all the leaflets on the table and finally found in minute type amongst all the Japanese, their website so typing negishi in the Unilocal check-in search, I found the characters that corresponds to the restaurant name and bingo, managed to check in at last!
