Love this gallery! Once you find it though. The first time I came here, I was looking forward it with my friend and it was raining cats and dogs. We were soaked down to our pants. We had google map but it was in one of those backstreets where you think you can walk through an alley but you end up somewhere totally the opposite direction. So much for google map… I’m not complaining, don’t get me wrong, I love how hidden it was, we were just caught on a bad day otherwise it would have been a lovely walk where we would explore Ebisu and enjoy the exhibition in a well-hidden gallery. NADiff a/p/a/r/t is a glass building with white interiors and a lovely spiral staircase. The first time I was here, we came for Natsumi Hayashi’s Levitation exhibition. It was quirky but awesome. We stood there tilting our heads and just admired the photos. When we were done, of course we went through the gift shop/bookstore and pondered on buying Natsumi Hayashi’s photobook. The bookstore is actually quite well stocked with art books and a lot of fiction as well. Just a great place to relax and be away from the busy city to indulge yourself with creativity.
