They say that«Choripan» is one of the major soul-food dishes that are loved in Argentina. The owner of this restaurant came across it when he was traveling through the country and was completely blown away with it. He then got a part-time job at a local Choripan place there and worked for 3 months before he came back to Japan and started this place. That seems to be the background information about this place, which is told on the website(in Japanese). It was my first time to eat Argentine sandwich and I wasn’t even sure what about it would be so different from usual western sandwiches. One distinctive thing, I felt, was the spices they put in the sauce, called«chimichurri». I guess I’d have to try it a few more times before coming to love it, but it came across pretty different in a refreshing way. I’ll say I’d not mind having a lot more chorizo in it, though. If you are a bread eater and have a habit of eating sandwiches every day, it should be worth a shot.

Hand-made, house-cured chorizo sausages are split & skillet-fried up to order. +150yen for the fixins(including the IMHO mandatory Chimichurri salsa) brings total up past a pricey 1000yen. Comfortable casual atmosphere. After a day at Yoyogi Park, I’d recommend taking a short taxi ride and then afterwards walking downhill to either Yoyogiuehara Stn or Yoyogikoen Stn.
