Ebi Fillet-O. Please bring to America! O.K, granted, I didn’t come to Tokyo for McDonald’s — a worldwide chain, a worldwide menace. But when your Japanese is limited to some basic phrases and a few nouns, you’re starving and you can’t figure out most menus without some pictures and Google Translate… well, sometimes you go with something quick, familiar and simple to order. So… McDonalds! I read about options in Japan that are not in America — such as this Ebi(Shrimp) burger. Which is a shame, because this was delicious. A breaded shrimp patty with mayo sauce, lettuce, within a standard bun. Very nice staff and clean bathrooms although I don’t think bad customer service or dirty anything, is even possible in Japan. All the regular options: hamburger/cheeseburger/chicken nuggets/french fries are on the menu. Also, interesting that McCafe is on the second level where most of the seating is. The McCafe has all the coffee drinks and pastries which are not available at the ground floor food counter.

Great McDonalds with polite service and a spacious interior. Most of the seating is on the top floor, though there’s a small counter if you want to dine on the first floor. Traffic here waxes and wanes, and luckily you can spot whether the line is bad from the corner outside. The menu here seems slightly expanded compared to other locations nearby. The selection of muffins, even late at night, was impressive. Good spot for people watching while you’re getting your fast food fix.
