I knew I wanted to shop for a Lolita inspired dress and I found the perfect store to indulge myself: Liz Lisa! They were having a sale so the store was crowded! I picked two girly dresses to try on. I don’t speak any Japanese, but the sales girls were nice and led me to the small fitting room. Don’t forget to take off your shoes and put them in the small mesh-​like bags! The dresses fit me perfectly! I went with the first one I tried. I don’t know anything about their sizing, but they seem to be for petite women and were almost one of a kind, just different colors. When paying at the cash register, make sure you put the money in the tray! A friend explained that it’s an old custom where money was exchanged/​given in an envelope to be polite. Since envelopes are not available in stores or restaurants, they use the tray. Good to know! Use both hands when receiving change and don’t forget to bow!
