Le Labo Daikanyama

I need to admit that i was completely fascinated by Tokyo during this whole biz trip. I do love Fukuoka as it’s my hometown and also very cool place, and never thought Tokyo could fascinate me like this (being honest). However, the scale of Tokyo is just completely different level (of course), i run across so many cool shops where i spent a long time just enjoying being there. Le Labo is one of cool shops where my eyes were sparkling.
Le Labo is a unique fragrance brand originated in NY. This Tokyo branch is the only signature shop in Japan.
What i loved about this shop (brand) was they have their «city exclusive» scents that are only available to get in each cities. So Tokyo shop has their own exclusive Tokyo scent which is inspired by Tokyo city. Likewise, each cities has their own. I was keen to buy one of regular scents but after finding out this city exclusive scents series, i thought it’s better to wait to try out San Francisco exclusive scent knowing that i will be there on July. The staff told me that SF exclusive smells like «freedom». How could i ignore that!
The staff member was very knowledgable customer oriented, and attentive but i didn’t feel pressured to make purchases. She let us try whole different scents. She also mentioned about their online shopping system. You can actually try some samples before you finalize your order.
I am very excited to check out the shop in SF ! I do really hope they will make their way to Fukuoka soon!
