I don’t review very often but I must for this place. Best Thai food outside of Thailand. The food is fresh tasting and the atmosphere is inviting. Get a seat at the bar facing the cook and get a look at them as they happily create for you. I really think this was the perfect series. Cashew chicken. Curry powder crab. Morning glory with some spring rolls for an appetizer. I’m not even finished yet and waiting for dessert and decided to post this whole il the taste is literally «fresh» in my mind. Really wonderful experience!

Behind Kiddyland near Jingumae crossing, this is another great, reasonably priced Thai spot, provided you don’t mind sitting in tight places. The tables and chairs are small, and if, like me, you are 185 cm tall, or more (185.7, actually), you won’t be able to sit for long.
The table service is pretty «matter of fact», with the staff operating on the assumption you’re there to eat, so «get on with it, mate, and don’t waste our time and space».
The menu is extensive but I can’t remember the names of the stuff I ordered. As my friend who retired to Thailand always told me, «the thing about Thai food is that you often have no idea what it is but it always tastes good».

Ça fait déjà un peu depuis le jour ou je suis allée ce restaurant thaiandais.
J’étais avec des amies qui connaissent beacoup de restos asiatiques et c’est elles qui m’ont fait découvrir le bon goût thalilandais.
Ce restaurant se trouve dans une petite rue à côté de Jingu-​maé, et là en fait il y a beacoup de petits bistros asiatiques très sympas.
En fait, dans le même bâtiment que le Kaffir Lime, au RDC, il y a un autre restaurant thalilandais qui est aussi assez connu.
En montant les escaliers, la salle était petite et étroite, mais il y avait déjà beaucoup de monde.
Tout le monde bavardait, lirait et buvait et l’ambiance était assez sympa, bien animée.
On a commandé la soupe des herbes, et un paquet de riz gluent thailandais et d’autres quelques spécialités des légumes.
Les plats étaient tous très bons et saveureux, mais ce qui m’a impressionné le plus, c’était le jus de saison que j’ai commandé.
Le jus de pastèque, en fait j’avias jamais rencontré ailleurs, mais c’était vraimant le jus de pastèque mais avec la glacé! La texture et le goût et la glacé croquante… que c’était bon!
C’était super rafraisshissant et je vous conseille fort si vous avez l’occasion d’y passer en été chez Kaffir Lime!
