Service(1 star) This venue accommodates water, dishware, and silverware at an appropriate pace. They essentially serve you with everything you need and then leave you to your culinary experience. They provide the Japanese-politeness standard with little English, but have English menus available with pictures. Food quality(1.5 stars) The food was nicely presented and tasted as I expected curry to taste. I really enjoyed the fusion-curry theme. I highly recommend any of the dinner combination plates that is not available during lunch(before 1700). Ambiance(1 star) The theme of Curry Up is «Reggae meets the 60s» which is consistent with how their food is served. Honestly we were initially looking for chicken katsu curry, but we’re pleasantly surprised to this treat. They serve Indian and Japanese type curry in a special fusion presentation that you could only expect with the creative and imaginative New Japan. The food is priced and themed well. Combination plates have two curries served on a flat dish with a 2 inch high lip. The curries are separated by a bed of rice. Eating the curry and rice leads to eventual blending of the two curries– I’m unsure if that was intentional, but it was reflective of how the restaurant blended their music choice, furniture, and curries mixed together to provide the patrons a relaxed and warm feeling. Rounding up the 3.5!

Excellent food at an excellent price. Had the butter chicken and it was just right; not too potent and not bland. Would recommend for anyone seeking comfort food.
