This place specializes«Tempura» only! They serve lots of fresh veggies and seafood depending on its availability and its season. Today, June 24th, 2014, I and my family members just paid a visit and tried«Tempura Gohan»: Tempura with rice, miso-soup with lobster juice, and some seasoned and pickled veggies. Good to know* 1: They cook Tempura right in front of you! It is open kitchen! Yay! Looks yummy! 2: They select fresh and seasonal veggies from everywhere in Japan. 3: Good for business occasions. Very quiet and cozy place. 4: The chef is friendly! Yeah he is not like old fashioned Japanese chef, but still his talent is guaranteed! They served smelt, green onion, baby corn, eggplant, shrimp, Shiitake, Kakiage, Anago; conger and Scallops. The amount is good enough for lunch menu and everything goes well with tempura dipping sauce and rock salt. Koromo; coating the veggies and seafood was super crispy but not too much to disturb the taste of veggies and seafood. Shrimp and Conger was really chewy and tasty! You should try this place if you are looking for authentic japanese Tempura! :)
