Full disclosure — I did not actually eat here because I’m a vegetarian and all the ramen has chicken/pork in it — but I did spend an hour watching my companions absolutely demolish some ramen and they urged me to write this review so other people would know. They seriously loved it and one friend who has been to japan 10 times said this was the best ramen he’s tried. You choose what you want in your ramen then choose the type of broth(light, medium or thick). The thick one was really dense and gelatinous and full of flavour. In short they highly recommend it! Also the chicken karaage was incredibly crispy and you can get a little set with ramen, chicken and rice.

Order your ramen from a vending machine as you do in most of Japan. Unfortunately there is no English translation so you’d have to do with looking at pictures. We ordered the gyoza appetizer, what I am assuming is a shoyu ramen and a tonkatsu ramen. The gyoza appeared to be filled with veggies and was so delicious paired with the sauce. The shoyu ramen was pretty good, but nothing like the tonkatsu ramen — the tonkatsu ramen was money! Unfortunately we did order it as «heavy» for the soup base, so it was just that — quite viscous actually and well, heavy. It probably gave me a mini heart attack but I didn’t care — the flavors were absolutely on point and just so satisfying! I would recommend ordering the«medium» for the ramen broth. The man serving us was very nice. Minimal to pretty much non-existent English though. However he was able to ask us if we wanted«light, medium, or heavy» for the broth — good enough I say. Highly recommended.
