Great find in Kyoto! It’s a shame it is so far away from so many other popular spots in the area because the food was really good but pretty empty for a Sunday night. The restaurant was decent-sized for Japan and they even had rooms with sliding doors so you can have privacy. Since we were starving we wanted the employees to notice us so we were happen to have a table near the center. We were craving sushi so we bought a platter with a mix of all different types of fish. Salmon, tuna, shrimp were delish. There were two ‘unknown’ whitefish rolls but both were great as well. It came with delicious miso soup that we shared. We started with their edamame, which was good… a lot larger than in the states. We also had some soba noodles that was served cold. It was okay, wish I ordered a warm soup but it was still good! Fine restaurant but be prepared to spend about $ 15 per person. So good for a nice dinner!
