The mountain villa-like wooden house café at the summit of Mt. Yoshida back to Kyoto University. A magazine introducing this café lured me here. So I decided to have lunch alone on a weekday. This small hill-like mountain seemed to be an appropriate walking course for the neighborhood inhabitants. As for me I was a stranger around here and felt scared alone. So looking for a fellow female traveler, I wait for a woman for a while at an entrance. They came! A stylish woman group of my same age came. I called them at once and asked for my company. Willingly their answer was OK. We aimed at the destination while talking. Though I imagined the café would be nearer, we didn’t easily arrive here. We seemed to go astray on the way. At last we arrived, but we were exhausted. I had to be in time for the reservation time of the hair salon after this. I came here with much effort, but I would be at a loss whether to get back without entering the café. But if alone, I heard there was no time to wait, so I was shown to the second floor of the café, left the group behind. It is located on the mountaintop, and its view is tremendous! Not only I could overlook the whole Kyoto city, but also see Mt. Daimonji, too. The Woody-like café made me relaxed. The monthly lunch menu was arranged tasty on white plates and its taste was a little light. As for the cost performance, I can’t say that it is so good. I wanted to stay here for a while, but had to leave in haste because I had another appointment. Although I felt a little scary, if I went back alone, fortunately I happened to meet old couple hikers on the way. I knew that they came from Shiga. It didn’t take time to descend the slope. I will come here to have drink and a sweet and want to relax leisurely next time. A variety hall and a workshop, the tea ceremony is sometimes held, so please check out!
