Very interesting and popular restaurant. You select your sushi from the convey belt or select on the IPad. DIY your ordering. For every 5 empty plate you got a chance to lucky draw. We had a lot of fun«playing» while eating. And it’s cheap too.

If you think food in Japan is expensive, Kurazushi will help you dispel this myth. This is a chain restaurant that specializes in conveyor belt sushi with locations all over Japan. I happen to be in the area and it was dinner time so I decided to eat here. The layout of Kurazushi seem to all be the same. You walk in and reserve a table or counter; this is done through a machine that prints you a number. When your table or counter is ready, an employee will call your number. Alright, back to the price point. All plates are 100 yen with the exception of some specialty items. The shaved ice dessert is a whopping 230 yen. Each plate comes with two pieces of sushi. When ordering, you can use the screen to punch in an order or just pick it up from the conveyor belt. My friend’s husband’s theory is that the former ensures freshness. I enjoy this place and might go once before I return to Canada. For tourists, Kurazushi is a great ‘kaitenzushi’ experience that’s friendly to the wallet. Good for: sushi, cheap eat
