A wonderful café that’s only flaw is they close a little early. It’s close to the Oharu bus station and tucked away in a serene area. The staff are very friendly, the coffee is well brewed with no oily texture or bitterness. You MUST try the matcha ice cream cake. If you’re staying at the Yumoto Onsen Oharasansou, it’s literally on your way to/from the bus station. You are depriving yourself if you don’t stop here.

After enjoying the driving at Ohara area(Sanzen-in, Jyakkou-ji) me and my bf stopped by to this café for a early dinner last August. This café will close at sunset so there is not specific time for its closing. The café is located on the way from the Jyakkoji to the nearest bus stop. It is an old house which is innovated into a café. The café opens the doors to have natural wind to come in the house that it was very easy to feel sleepy and don’t want to leave. We were there in the sunny day so I was aware with the heat but interestingly the café didn’t make me feel hot at all. Also I was never bothered by the mosquito. We had the Onigiri set(780 yen), it had rice balls and a Somen(thin noodle) for early dinner. We were a bit late then 15:00 but the clerk were kind enough to serve us the set. We were there until the sunset as we wanted to stay as long as we could. We were the last costumer there.
