After a long day of walking in the rain we found this place with the help of Unilocal. The reviews seemed good so we have it a try. The food was delicious and the staff is very helpful and informative. I asked if something had dairy and he automatically asked if I was vegan. Shocked that he knew what that was since it’s not very common in Japan. Once knowing I am vegan showed me everything I could not have and I felt confident there wouldn’t be any hidden utter or cream somewhere. We really enjoyed our meal here and we’re very impressed with the staff/service as well as the food. Would definitely recommend.

Everything here is so good! Our stay in Japan was only 2 weeks with a super busy schedule but we came here 2 times! Will definitely be coming back here whenever I’m in Kyoto. For the two of us, we had Malai Kofta, Vegetable Pelaw, Sesame Nan and Tomato Soupx3(I loved it so much I ordered it again at the end).

Came for dinner, starving. Got the spinach mutton curry, and my friend got the chicken spinach curry. The waiter was really considerate and reminded us that since they’re both spinach curries, the sauce would be the same, and if we’re sharing, would we want to order two different bases? Nope. Spinach is exactly what we wanted, but thanks for thinking of us! We each got a naan– pretty standard naan. They serve wine, both by the glass and by the bottle. We each got a glass of red(you get a choice on the menu for bottles, not for glasses, which just gives you a choice of red or white). The red was a delightfully light and easy to drink shiraz that wasn’t too sweet. Left full and satisfied. I would like to point out that it may be a better deal to come for their lunch sets. Two curries, two naans, and two glasses of wine came to about…4700yen? They are, however, pretty obviously popular, and I noticed a couple of reserved tables.

We were visiting Tokyo from California and only intended to come eat here once, but it was so amazing that we dined here twice during our short trip. We ordered the malai kofta, palak paneer and vegetable jalfry and all were amazing, even by my picky Dad’s native Indian standards.
