Go for lunch! We attempted to and thought we had made it, since we were handed a lunch menu, however, when I tried to order(in Japanese), she explained that I couldn’t get it. I was confused, but she meant that I could get it, just not for that price… So then I had to look over an entirely separate dinner menu. Kind of an annoying start, but it payed off in the end. My boyfriend and I split a pizza set with coffee/tea, a small salad, and a dessert. We ordered the chocolate tart, but were brought the pear tart… Didn’t say anything because it still looked good, but again, the waitress was not impressive at that time. It also came with bread in a a basket. The pizza was incredibly oily, so we soaked up the extra with our bread. Still really yummy and cheesy though. Definitely small for the price, at least at dinner time. I know this review probably sounds negative, but it was mostly due to the service. We really did have a nice time, once we had our food. It was a beautiful day and the best part of the restaurant is that you can sit with a view of the river(where«kawa café» comes from). The food was enjoyable, and not something you find that often in Japan. So, four stars it is!
