It’s been a few months, but I still remember clearly how DELICIOUS the meal we had here was. We arrived for lunch around 1−2pm and had to wait for a few minutes before we were seated. They do have English menus and they take Visa! Score! The staff prepares sesame seeds in a mini mortar and pestle for each guest so that they can grind them up to their liking for the tonkatsu sauce which is a Japanese style BBQ sauce. From what I remember, they have two different sauces. One is more pungent than the other so I like to mix them together! I went with the Crab Meat Croquette and Tenderloin Cutlet Zen Set and the bf got the Chicken Cutlet Zen Set. It comes with as much barley rice, miso soup, and picked vegetables as you like! And everything is so good!!! I preferred the pork over the chicken, but the breading was absolute perfection on both. It is super crispy, not oily, and and light. I loved it! The pork was juicy and tender. The miso soup and cabbage salad were awesome too and we got third helpings of this. Katsukura is highly recommended! One of my favorite meals of the trip!
