Bunkado

Bunkado supermarket is a big chain store. Though I haven’t checked out other Bunkado, this Nishimagome branch which is 10-​sec-​walk to Nishimagome station is amazing! Cheap amd nice vegetables plus late store hours — 9am to 1am!
I didn’t really pay attention to Nishimagome Bunkado until I visited their Monday vegetable market. The vegetable market is huge and have so many kinds of seasonal fruits and vegetable at very reasonable price. Since there are so many choices, it’s not hard to find some Japanese southern and western safe fruits and vegetable (I paid special attention to southern/​western food after Fukushima nuclear plant disaster.) And this supermarket provides a small area of organic vegetable too, not many choices, but still good enough.
Bunkado carries a small range of daily household grocery as well except food. The only thing I concern is they don’t provide parking lot. But still, very convenient store hours for busy working people + very nice Monday vegetable market for vegetable lovers!

This Bunkado is just next to Nishimagome station. There is a parking for bicycle nearby. I like this shop because,
1. As I mentioned, very close to the station
2. It opens from 9 am to 1 am. So you can go for shopping even after the last train. No need to worry about lacking of something and have to go to the convenience store.
3. This is a supermarket so you can buy things cheaper than other places. Often we can have a chance of sale.
When I go to Nishimagome station, I cannot ignore this shop and as soon as I see this shop, the big letters of 50% off or Sale come directly into my eyes. So even though I did not need things right now but I sometimes buy them because they attract me. This is not a so-​called large supermarket, but it sells almost everything you would need in your daily lives. On the other hand, we can say it is compact and easy to find what we want and need. So we do not waste our time to look for where it is.
