Good food for an airport location. Service is quick and the food is pretty good. One can order sushi directly from the chefs or take it off the conveyor belt. I have tried several different conveyor belt sushi restaurants and this is one the better one I have been to.

Rating: 59⁄100 pts Leave it to Japan to have a FULLSERVICE conveyor belt sushi bar right at the airport terminal, adding to the competent lineup of quality restaurants and shops here that are sure to fulfill your parting desires before leaving the country. Though I haven’t tried enough of the others to comment as to whether this is the best restaurant here, I can say that quality is fair for what it is. It was exactly what I was craving on this particular night, when I wanted just a few plates to hold me over until my flight’s meal service, rather than an entire meal, which is what most other places here offer. Prices are a bit higher than what you’d pay for comparable quality sushi elsewhere, but preparation is is not abbreviated. The fish is shipped daily, directly from Tokyo’s Tsukiji Fish Market. **Don’t speak Japanese? No problem.** Being the international terminal, the staff is fairly used to English speakers. Both the menus and the order sheets also have English. Otherwise, don’t be shy to grab trays off the belt, which they will tally up for your at checkout. Tray colors indicate prices.

Did you know that Japanese people don’t take sushi off the conveyor belt and the stuff on it is just for show? No? Me neither. But my sister did, and once she pointed it out and you had a good look round, I noticed that NOONE was taking sushi off the belt(also the ticky menu thing was a dead giveaway– stick to the ticky menu sheet and speaking with the chef and stay WELL away from the stuff on the belt. Hey, I didn’t make this convention up! This was the perfect spot for our last meal in Japan and I must say it was pretty delicious(especially since you’re at the airport, and expect to have icky food). We really liked the tiny baby prawn special and the toro(so much that both myself and my sister found room to stuff in an extra negitoro temaki). My nephew LOVED his salmon sushi(and he even ventured out of his comfort zone to eat some tamago so it must have been good). We had planned to come back for breakfast but unfortunately BA decided to cancel my sister’s connecting flight without telling anyone so it took over an hour for us to check in. No Sushi. Sad face.

It’s not bad at all! Stopped by this place, inside Haneda International Airport, before our flight to Taiwan. When we were here, the conveyor belt wasn’t moving(perhaps it was because before their peak time?) so two chefs, who were very friendly, made our sushi as we ordered. I like the fact that they have some side menus such as goma tofu(sesame tofu) and agemono(deep fried dishes) since I am not so much of a sushi fan. And their complimentary self-serve green tea! It is so nice that I can get myself a cup of hot tea without bothering the servers. They are open very early in the morning to late at night. I believe 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Also, there is a place where you can store your suitcases which is another plus, very convenient. Pretty decent place for trying Edomae sushi at the time of arrival or departure of your flight!

Tried this place out for a quick dinner. It’s inside the Haneda International Airport on the upper floor where the restaurants are. It was pay by plate from the moving conveyor and they have a menu you can order from as well. If you don’t see it then just tell the chef and they make it for you. This place is strictly nigiri and sashimi, so for you foreigners who want those fancy California roll type sushi, this is not for you. The nigiri was good but not melt in my mouth good. The uni was delicious! That melted in my mouth like butter. For two people we spent an equivalent of about $ 88. For an airport location, not bad.
