Rock Bar Cherry Bomb

I often go there to talk about music and the bartenders are excellent hosts. Truly stars. Don’t like the music? Just ask them to change it, or even take a guitar off the wall and they may jam with you.
They have a great selection of imported IPAs and other craft beers, priced appropriately and worth every yen.
They have a an excellent ¥500 drink menu.
They do TACO TUESDAYs and they do it right! Cali/​Tex-​Mex tacos and Tequila, each for ¥200. They even have Cholula, Valentina, and many other, hard-​to-​find «hot-​sauces» that are legit.

Do you like rock music? If so, don’t come here with high hopes. Their definition of «rock» is limited to mid/​late 90’s to modern music. And I’m not even talking about the rare exceptions. I’m talking about non-​stop Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, System of a Down, Godsmack, etc. Which are good singalongs but definitely not the first bands I’d think of when I think of a rock bar.
The bar itself if okay… The drink prices are average, or maybe even a little cheaper than some of the other foreigner bars. But you’re definitely paying for the luxury of being able to order in English (and listen to mediocre music) with the drink prices here.
The bartenders are really nice though and very friendly. They always seem ready and willing to talk and help you out. But they seem to have a lot of their friends in a lot of the time, so they get a bit distracted with that and may take a bit longer filling your orders.
There is one bartender that I’m not a fan of, who seems to operate with a «cooler than thou» vibe. But it could’ve been that one night, because I’ve only seen them one night I went.
So, basically, it’s an ok bar with ok prices. Don’t come if you want to listen to classic/​real rock music. It’s up a bunch of stairs (the elevator was broken the last time I went) but there’s a small sign outside the building on the bottom floor so it shouldn’t be too hard to find.
