One thing convenient about this station is that it’s in the middle of Osaka minus the crowd.
It’s also conveniently located near Osaka Eki MaeDai Building and Avanza building which has the Junkodo bookstore. Just a few minutes from different restaurant and Diamor Mall.
Since it connects directly to Gakkentoshi line, no need to transfer till I reached my destination.

This station is very near from famous night spot, Kitashinchi.
If you have a ticket valid to Osaka station, you can get off at this station too.
It is very convenient especially for the people live in the JR Tozai line area.
Go up to the ground, you can find a lot of neon signs around the exits.
There are a lot of expensive restaurants and nightclubs.
But you also can find some cheap restaurants.
In the evening, a lot of beautiful ladies are taking trains and get off for their job at nightclubs.
The smell of perfumes are too strong.
言わずと知れた大阪の繁華街・北新地の最寄駅です。
大阪駅までの切符で乗り降り（相互に可能です）でき、定期券をお持ちの方ならかなり便利に使えます。
JR東西線の地下深いホームから地上に出るとたくさんのレストランやナイトクラブ、ラウンジなどがあります。
高級なお店が多いですが、比較的安価に楽しめるお店もあります。
夕方になると出勤のホステスさんたちが大勢、電車から（最近はタクシー通級なんて無理なんですね）降りてこられて、香水の香りにクラクラするかもしれません。
