The consistency between this location and the other two locations I’ve visited is amazing! I’ve already raved about the ramen in my other two reviews. so I’ll talk about the difference. Unlike the Dotonbori and Shibuya location, this one has a separate area with tables! So if you don’t want to sit in the individual booths/windows, you have the option to sit upstairs at a table(great for groups!). Also, this location is a block away from the Dotonbori location. If the line at that Ichiran is too long, this one will probably have no line/no wait! This location is across the water/bridge from the Dotonbori location(i.e., the location in front of the waters). NOTE: Cash only when ordering at the vending machine, but it looks like they accept card if you purchase their home-kits!

Where to begin. I am a huuuuuuuge ramen lover. I live for ramen. Being only 15 minutes away from little Tokyo in southern California, I thought we had almost all the best ramen come directly from Japan. Nope. We definitely need an ichiran in America. Ichiran makes my ramen exactly how I dream the perfect ramen to taste. The broth is light, but still packed with pork based flavor. The noodles are thin the pork slices aren’t sliced too thick, and the egg with green onions and garlic just ties everything together. Also, you can choose your spice level! This place is very traditional, you can choose eating in a cubicle or get your own table. I suggest getting the cubicle experience if it’s your first time.

I had to come to Osaka when visiting Japan, being a foodie and all. :) We saw a ramen place with the longest line and knew that it would be good! In the true Japanese style, the line moved fast and efficiently. This place goes one step above traditional vending machine ordering by providing you with a paper to fill out with your order before you even get to the vending machine, which further speeds along the process. Once you order, you are taken up to what can only be described as your own personal ramen cubicle! You have your own faucet for water and, before you know it, you will be served your ramen and beverage of choice by a server who will then close the curtain so you can dine in private. Of course, if you come with friends like I did, you can lower the partitions. My ramen was perfectly spicy — just the way that I like it! Love this place.
