This is a little treasure of a bakery in Ekoda and EVERYONE in the hood seems to know about it. You will never be alone as you line up 10 – 20 deep before their 11am open. My main target is always the loaf of bread in two varieties for 240 or 260yen. They are both incredibly chewy with the crust perfectly crusty… the owner/chef is a nice lady who bakes everything on her own. The variety is just enough and she can sell out within 30min to a few hours but I never ever see her open past 1pm as everything sells out quickly. Once you try this loaf of bread you will never ever be satisfied with most other Japanese bakery offerings and forget about the supermarket bread… you’ll never touch it again. Just go chat up the friendly chef who is all smiles with every visit.
