The fact that this 14-seater is a little out of the way and a bit hidden(5-minute walk from Kichijoji Station) is the only reason it is possible to get a table within an hour, but you still need some luck. They serve fish. Generally speaking, I don’t like fish, but they add some magic and now I like fish. Well, I like their fish. Typically there is a selection of 16 or so different fish, served in a handful of different styles(miso, teriyaki, salt-bake and a couple of others). But they only have a handful of each and once they are gone you are out of luck. The selection varies by day based on the catch so get there early to have your pick. In the end, it is all good though so you won’t be disappointed, even if the nodoguro is already sold out.
