A lovely small Italian restaurant right across Yodobashi Camera Kichijoji. Compared to all the flashy restaurants in the area, Bar Boga has a dark wooden exterior that gives off a mysterious aura. This Italian restaurant prides itself with its menu that changes with the season and the passing months. Their handmade pasta is something to die for! We tried out their Bagna Cauda, Tortellini with tomato based sauce, and braised Ibérico pork. Vegetables for the Bagna Cauda are all locally grown, and fresh to death. Nothing beats handmade pasta! The Tortellini was thick and held a good weight in my mouth, but the amount of pasta on the plate was just enough to move onto the Ibérico Pork. The pork was so juicy that the fat dripped down to my plate with every bite. I can’t even describe how delicious this plate is – but I can say it was so good that we ate the entire plate even though we were full from the pasta. All of the items were bursting with individual flavor, and were absolutely delicious! Because the menu changes every season, I cannot speak for the other menus. It’d be best if you went to the restaurant and tried it out yourself.
