This is the biggest home center in the area and its popularity is undisputed. Considering the surrounding neighborhoods are mostly single family houses, you’re going to find needs in these areas met here for: gardeners, weekend warrior craftsmen, home makers, pet owners, you name it. Savings appear to be passed on to the customer as much as possible as prices for similar goods in other stores are cheap(er). An example of this is in the beer and wine section. They sell by the case as well as individual cans/bottles or six packs for beer. The first floor has tons of building and gardening supplies from tools, pots, fertilizers, flower seeds and bulbs. Heck, they even sell fully grown trees and potted plants. Don’t have space in your car? No problem, you can borrow a small pickup truck to drive all your oversized purchases(lumber, shrubbery and trees) home. You’ll need a valid Japanese driver’s license to take advantage of this service, however. Another feature of the first floor is the pet corner. Live animals are for sale including kittens, puppies, tropical fish, birds, hamsters, bunny rabbits… and some exotics like snakes, lizards, ferrets and bugs. Yes, bugs! You know, those huge horned beetles that the kids love and study in elementary school? Yup, those. Did I mention pets supplies too? There is so much pet foods, accessories, houses, toys… all this takes up about a third of total floor area! The second floor hosts domestic items: sundries, cleaning supplies, plus tools, furniture and storage supplies, some electronics and camping equipment. Pretty extensive section of school and office supplies too. All in all, there are tons of items here; except for fresh foods, you’ll find almost any basic home and garden item here. It’s truly a one-stop place to get them without having to hit half a dozen stores. Warning: On weekends, if you insist on coming by car, come early. The traffic jam of cars waiting to get in can often extend over several hundred meters long.
