You haven’t experienced Shōronpo(小籠包– Chinese steamed dumplings) until you’ve eaten here! One word: OMFG! Through years of travel across all the major Chiatowns in the US, Hawaii, China and countries of SE Asia, I have NEVER had a shōronpo like what was waiting to surprise me today. I will investigate fiurther but the ingredients and hand-made skins were steamed to perfection. Of course you use the soup spoon in your left hand as you take a bite — this is to catch the delectable soup and juices from adding to your laundry bill. You might need another way to prevent the laundry bill inducing utter delight from that first bite. Aromatic, exotic spices, deep rich pork juices — all just totally out of this world. Accompanying these gems were rice, soup, daikon sliced salad, zassai pickles. All a very nice compliment to the main feature. The name says home-style cooking, and it’s not just a moniker. Very carefully prepared ingredients and all made with loving care by hand. More updates to this review to come as the menu gets explored — stay tuned. OK, no use elaborating further — just come! P. S. Where’s that sixth star? It’s that good!
